spainsdigitalnomadvisa.com (this "Site") is an independent informational publication produced by Nômade Media. We are journalists and editors. We are not Spanish lawyers, asesores fiscales, gestores, real-estate agents, or government officials. Nothing on this Site is legal, tax, immigration, real estate, or financial advice.
Reading this site, downloading the checklist, signing up for the newsletter, or sending us a contact-form message does not create a lawyer-client, advisor-client, or fiduciary relationship. For your specific situation, consult a licensed Spanish immigration lawyer registered with a Colegio de Abogados, an asesor fiscal, or another duly licensed professional. Our resources page lists firms we are aware of; verify them independently before engaging.
Spanish visa, residency, and tax rules change frequently. We update content as we become aware of changes, but we make no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or currency. Always verify current requirements directly with the Spanish consulate covering your jurisdiction, the UGE-CE, the Agencia Tributaria, or a licensed professional before making any decisions or commitments based on Site content.
Some outbound links on this Site are affiliate links. If you click through and sign up, the partner pays us a small commission at no extra cost to you. We currently have affiliate relationships with:
We do not accept payment for placement in our resources directory. Lawyer, gestor, asesor, and real-estate listings are independent and unpaid. If we ever introduce sponsorship into the directory, it will be clearly labeled.
Outbound links go to third-party sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. The presence of a link is not an endorsement.
If you submit a correction, suggestion, or pitch through our contact form, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that content for editorial purposes — including quoting it (anonymously by default) in published guides. Don't send us anything you don't want us to read.
All Site content — text, photography, logos, code — is © Nômade Media unless otherwise noted. You may quote short passages with attribution and a link back. Wholesale republication, scraping, or AI training-set inclusion without permission is not authorised.
The Site is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nômade Media disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, including but not limited to lost time, lost income, denied visa applications, or tax penalties.
This section governs any paid Featured Listing placement purchased through the Get Listed page. By submitting the sponsor application form on that page, you agree to these terms.
7.1 Editorial control. Nômade Media retains editorial control over all content published on the Site, including Featured Listings and their associated case studies. We may request revisions to sponsor-supplied copy for tone, accuracy, claim-substantiation, or fit. We may decline to publish copy we cannot verify or would not endorse.
7.2 Independence. Sponsorship does not buy positive coverage outside the Featured Listing card and case study itself. We will not remove, alter, or suppress unrelated editorial content (city guides, visa guidance, FAQ answers) because a sponsor objects.
7.3 Labelling. Featured Listings are paid placements and are clearly labelled as such on the Site (gold ribbon, "★ Featured Listing" badge). The associated case study carries a "Featured Case Study" eyebrow. Sponsor-supplied affiliate links on Featured Listings carry rel="sponsored" in compliance with FTC and search-engine guidelines.
7.4 Term & renewal. Quarterly placements cover one calendar quarter and do not auto-renew. Annual prepaid placements cover four consecutive quarters from the agreed start date and do not auto-renew. Toward the end of each term we will contact you to ask whether you wish to renew, subject to availability.
7.5 Removal & refunds. Nômade Media may remove a Featured Listing during its term if (a) we receive substantiated reader complaints that the sponsor cannot resolve, (b) the sponsor's regulatory status changes (e.g., loss of bar-association registration), (c) the sponsor breaches these Terms, or (d) we determine in good faith that continued placement would mislead readers. For quarterly placements removed for cause under (a)–(d), we refund the unused portion on a calendar-month pro-rata basis. For annual prepaid Placements: if we initiate removal for cause under (a)–(d) above, we refund the unused portion on a pro-rata basis (months remaining ÷ 12 × the prepaid total). Sponsor-initiated cancellations of an annual prepaid Placement made after the case study has published do not refund the unused portion; the listing card and case study remain live for the remainder of the term unless the sponsor requests removal, in which case no refund is owed.
7.6 Indemnification. The sponsor warrants that all copy they supply is accurate, does not infringe any third party's rights, and complies with applicable advertising and consumer-protection law in the jurisdictions where the sponsor solicits business. The sponsor agrees to indemnify and hold Nômade Media harmless from any claim arising out of sponsor-supplied content, including legal fees reasonably incurred in defending such a claim.
7.7 DMCA & IP takedown. Copyright and other intellectual-property complaints — including against sponsor-supplied Featured Listing content — are handled under our DMCA & IP Takedown procedure. On receipt of a valid notice we will disable the affected material under that procedure's timeline and forward the notice to the sponsor under their indemnification obligation in clause 7.6.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Disputes shall first be addressed in good faith between the parties; if unresolved, the parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Moore County, North Carolina. Nothing in this section limits the rights of any consumer in their country of residence under applicable mandatory consumer-protection law (including, for Spanish residents, the protections of the Spanish General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users).
We may update these Terms as our practices or applicable law evolves. Significant changes are dated at the top.
